ain't real, don't you think? Is it not being able to live in the here now, looking for ways to change the past, a situation, something; not observing, taking and digesting it as it is? If one understands healing, it should be effortless. Skins heals itself, no one involved. The same with the psychological. This is the idea of vis medicatrix naturae, the healing power of nature. Not that this is true, but a relationship, yourself and a healer are no cure either. Claiming so is impossible. As it cannot be owned, whom to credit? Ego wants merit by doing effort, that's inherent. It wants the illusion of life, though can be unhappy with how it is. Thus, it wants healing. A better life. Wanting to be well is an escape. Thoughts are ever on the run, trying to survive an imaginary jail in between ears. If it concerns loving each other 'better' (it's never enough, eh?), as she says, it is business. Love is then seen as a commodity, product, thing. It becomes a bargain. While in fact it cannot be negotiated, offered or accepted. Since love is based on ego, one may see through it, but, as we humans are quite stupid, we fall in its trap again and again. It's called falling in love for a reason. Rising in it is a different story. |
